THE BROKEN BLUE MACHINE
The Conservatives will follow Andrew Scheer into the 2019
election, after the young Saskatchewan MP won an upset victory at the party’s leadership convention in Toronto Saturday night. So read the headlines of most newspapers…
Andrew WHO!!!
Really!!! Who is this Andrew Scheer? Who ever heard of him? You got to recognize when you are beaten and left for dead… The Liberal Party in my opinion got it right. During the last Federal election. They had no one in their stable of possible candidates that stood any chance of winning. So what did the Liberals do… revive a dead horse. The Trudeau brand was once again brought to the Canadian political spot light.
The Liberals put their bets on a dead horse written by a pretty boy with no real experience at anything. Just that his last name was Trudeau.
And much like Trump won the U.S. election on name recognition. Trudeau was crowned King of Canada.
A man that lived as the prince of Canada for years in the shadows of his father Pierre Trudeau. A man that revolutionized Canadian politics and gave the Liberal party a point of reference.
A point of reference that made his brand stand out as the champion of the people.
Like really… Who is doing the thinking for the conservatives? Do you really think that this Andrew Scheer has a chance?
Really…. Do you not think that Jagmeet Singh the upcoming NDP candidate could win? With the huge population of South/East and Central Asia population in Canada? Do you not think that this is the trojan horse awaiting on the side lines to truly change the face of Canadian
politics?
Really, nose bleed Andrew who… Poster boy for Wonder Bread is going to take out King Trudeau or stand a chance against the huge East/South Asian population in Canada?
Really… First question.
Who does Andrew appeal to? The conservative party? What party?
The conservative following? Where were they during the last election?
If I was at the helm of the conservative party I would have brought back Preston Manning to resurrect the conservative party. There is a candidate with a solid name and one that truly worked for the betterment of Canadians at large. A man that built a party from grass roots only to be taken out by the conservatives greed. Ernest Preston Manning, PC CC AOE is a conservative Canadian politician. He was the only leader of the Reform Party of Canada, a Canadian federal political party that evolved into the Canadian Alliance.
Sad to see this exceptional candidate not recognized for his true potential and shun out for being a one man show.
Something Canada truly needs. We do not need the NDP to strong arm us into the possible acceptance of Sharia law. We can’t afford to keep spending money we don’t have through the Liberals sponsorship of refugees and foreign aid to save the globe.
Come on people. We need true leadership. We need someone that is not about the party but about the hard working Canadian that struggles to pay his/her bills. To the Canadian that can’t afford the simplest of necessities. To the middle class families that work like modern day slaves to give their children an adequate way of life.
The best the conservatives could come up with is this “YES” man Andrew. Are you kidding me? Maybe Trump is right. The system is broken and the swamp of greed and pathetic politics needs to be exposed. Much as he is doing in the U.S. Go Trump Go. Invade Canada please before we are invaded from within.

“I live a dream in a nightmare world”

TO CARD OR NOT TO CARD THIS IS THE DILEMMA
The media has given Peel Region quite a beating over it’s practice of CARDING. Carding, which is officially known as the Community Contacts Policy, is an intelligence gathering policy of the Toronto Police Service involving the stopping, questioning, and documenting of individuals when no particular offense is being investigated.
The big question is why is carding such an issue in a municipality like Peel? Secondly why are people wanting to take power away from the police?
The issue has been played as a racial one. Those opposing carding claim that some ethnic groups have been targeted by police.
In my opinion life is simple. So why complicate it? If you have nothing hide you have nothing to worry about. I would actually welcome being carded as I would know the police have me in their records in case of emergency and or actual incident. Those opposing carding play the race card when they should be gathering their race types and educate them on portraying to the general public a less of criminal element.
Let’s be real. If you look like trouble. Trouble will find you. Black/white/green or purple. I am against taking away police tools to keep us safe. It is not about freedoms and rights. It is about being responsible and protecting the community from those that look threatening. We in North America are playing a dangerous game. It appears that it has become chic to oppose police. It appears that every time an officer makes a mistake for whatever reason. The media is quick to create a sense of injustice and hysteria. This is wrong. We forget that police officers have one of the toughest jobs. They go out there day in and day out and have to face some of the most disturbing situations. From a mere traffic stop, that could cost an officers life. To murders and riots. What is going to end up happening is we are going to turn our police services from serving and protecting to answering calls to pick up pieces. No officer wants to discharge their weapon. No officer wants to take people into custody. Circumstance/timing and environment play a key role. By adding the fear to officer of legal persecution ontop of loss of life and possible liability. What we will end up getting are competent cops leaving the force. This forcing the police services to lower the standards even more to fill the gaps. This producing what I call ‘THIRD WORLD COPS’. Cops with little or no education. Limited training, that are willing to work for next to nothing and are dispensable.
With our population on the rise across North America. Crime is and has become more a priority. Policing is the key to keeping our societies civil. By weakening the power of the police we are weakening our safety. I personally think that they should be teaching at schools respect for the police and what to do when an officer approaches. On the other side of the coin. I think police officers need to get more training in how to cope with stress and situations that put them in extreme duress to make extraordinary decisions. I do not think that if an act by police is intentional and out of malice and or with some sort of personal agenda should not go reprimanded. Simple rule you break the law you have to pay. But as society we must be sensitive to the profession. I say if you have nothing to hide. Why oppose carding? We need to keep the criminals and those with intent off our streets.

Letter To The Editor:
If you have lived in the Muskoka community for any length of time you are among the many fortunate people who love the outstanding natural beauty of the region. This natural beauty is just one of the many reasons why the Muskoka lakes community has become such a cherished cottage and boating community.
The increase in boat traffic threatens the region. The growth in the size, power and number of boats has created safety and excessive boat noise issues that cottagers want to address.
Cottagers have formed Safe Quiet Lakes (SQL), which is a regional advocacy group that works in cooperation with the OPP and other groups to promote respect, responsible boating and safety among all lake users. Each year the SQL runs a summer long public awareness campaign to educate lake users and promote a voluntary boating code of conduct.
This summer the SQL education campaign is highlighting the issue of excessive noise created by some powerboats, including those that boaters can choose to operate with their muffler system disengaged. The campaign will remind boaters that it is not only inconsistent with the culture of the lakes but also against the law to operate a boat without a muffler on the Muskoka lakes.
If a few boat owners continue to operate without considering the impact of noise caused by disengaging their mufflers they risk ruining the enjoyment of the vast majority of cottagers who treasure Muskoka’s quiet and peacefulness. Surveys conducted by Safe Quiet Lakes confirm that the majority of cottage owners and residents in the Muskoka region place a high value on quiet and are unhappy with excessive noise from some powerboats. In fact, the same surveys indicate that enjoyment of the lakes for paddlers, sailors and powerboat owners is directly correlated to perceptions of safety and quiet. Throughout the summer long campaign, Safe Quiet Lakes and the OPP will be educating boat owners to be aware of the different types of muffler systems and configurations that are found in the wide variety of vessels throughout Muskoka and the regulations that govern them.
During the campaign volunteers from Safe Quiet Lakes and officers from the OPP Marine Unit will be working with boat operators to educate them on the ways to operate their vessels safely, quietly and respectfully. The OPP will be enforcing the regulations and want the public to be able to identify what meets regulation and what is prohibited under the Canada Shipping Act. More information about the Boaters Always Care campaign and how to operate your boat quietly and respectfully can be found at safequiet.ca.
Almost everyone in the Muskoka Region is a boater. The time has come for all boaters to sign on to a positive and considerate boating culture. That way we can all enjoy the lakes that we treasure. by Paul Coffey
Letter To The Editor:
Does the car of the future really need to be electric to be environmentally responsible? On a recent trip to Hawaii, the car service sent a beautiful Tesla to pick us up at the airport. The driver told us how proud he was to be driving a “zero-emissions” vehicle. This prompted me to ask him what powers the car? When he replied “electricity,” I asked how that electricity was generated. Looking at the windmills on the ridges above us, he said, “Those windmills I guess.” I informed him that Hawaii’s hundred-plus windmills generate only five per cent of the state’s power. The other 95 per cent comes from carbon emissions-intensive diesel-fueled power plants. Then I explained that each time an energy source is changed to another form, an efficiency loss occurs. The largest loss comes when the diesel is burned in the power plant and the electricity is sent to the Tesla’s charging station. The next loss occurs when the car’s battery charger converts the AC electricity to chemical energy stored in the battery. The final loss occurs when that chemical energy is converted to DC power and delivered to the electric motors driving the wheels. Combined, these efficiency losses consume some 75 per cent of the energy originally contained in the diesel fuel, leaving just 25 per cent to power the Tesla. But what if that diesel fuel was burned in an internal combustion engine? The latest turbo-diesel engines approach 50 per cent thermal efficiency, so the car would use only half as much diesel and emit half the emissions. This anecdote conveys two realities. First, electric cars are only as “green” as the fuel used to generate the electricity they consume. Second, sometimes it’s environmentally better to burn the fuel in the car than the power plant.
How does that first reality apply to electric cars in Canada? B.C., Manitoba, Quebec and Newfoundland generate the vast majority of their electricity from hydro, so it’s thumbs up for electric cars. Coal supplies most of the electricity in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia and P.E.I. New Brunswick’s electricity is fueled by a roughly equal mix of hydro, coal, fuel oil and natural gas. So electric cars are not green in those five provinces.
That leaves Ontario, the province that just announced a $7-billion Climate Action Plan featuring generous subsidies to promote “an electric car in every driveway.”
On the surface, the fact that some 80 per cent of Ontario’s electricity is generated by hydro and nuclear makes electric cars look green. But it’s not that simple. Those millions of new electric cars will require a massive expansion of Ontario’s power systems.
So what’s really important isn’t the current fuel mix but rather what would fuel all that new electricity. The plan makes bold assertions about expansion of wind and solar but the governing Liberals’ last grand green plan was absolutely disastrous, enriching wind and solar companies with huge subsidies while driving Ontario from one of North America’s lowest power-rate jurisdictions to one of the highest. And since the wind is unpredictable, and since Ontario’s winter daylight hours are short and summer days often cloudy, essentially all wind and solar must be backed up by reliable facilities. Billions have already been spent on back-up natural-gas-fueled power plants and many more billions would be required to power all those new electric cars.
That’s where the second reality from my Tesla anecdote applies, not just in Ontario but across the country. Even in provinces where electric cars are actually green, not everyone wants to put up with the “range anxiety” of plug-in cars.
Given that the CO2 emissions intensity of natural gas is 25 per cent lower than gasoline or diesel fuel, the emissions reduction from switching a large portion of the country’s vehicle fleet to natural gas would be dramatic. Moreover, toxic particulate and nitrogen oxide emissions are eliminated with clean-burning natural gas.
What a huge leap forward for meeting Canada’s atmospheric emissions reduction targets!
The Canadian Natural Gas Vehicle Alliance is working to accomplish this vital objective. The International Association for Natural Gas vehicles estimates that there are more than 20 million natural gas-powered vehicles already on the road.
Rather than profoundly flawed and enormously costly transportation schemes like Ontario’s plan, low-carbon-intensity, clean-burning natural gas offers Canadians the biggest single opportunity to reduce atmospheric emissions.

Letter To The Editor:
In looking at the most recent as well as the most horrific terrorist attack in the USA since 9/11, at a gay club in Orlando, there is no doubt whatsoever that it was Islamic-based, Sharia law, which requires the death penalty for homosexuality, that was the ideological and/or motivating jihadi-warfare factor that sadly left 49 people dead and 53 people wounded. I totally agree with former US Ambassador John Bolton that the attacker, Omar Mateen, is not a “one off” or a victim of so-called “mental illness”. I completely agree with him that the root cause is unmistakably “ideological”.
I would also agree with other, high-ranking US officials, that Orlando is not an isolated “act of terror and hate” but clearly an “act of war”. A single “act of terror and hate” is something committed by a mentally unstable individual or “lone wolf” acting alone. Whereas a single “act of war” is where an individual acts “ideologically”, whether directly or indirectly, in concert with (hundreds or thousands) of others, as with ISIS. Though there may be elements of terror and hatred involved, it is not the principle, motivating factor. The principle, motivating cause in Orlando was clearly ideological and/or a shared, Islamic-warfare driven ideology. There are many Muslim countries (e.g. Saudi Arabia) that have homosexuality as a capital crime. And likewise ISIS has both called for, as well as enacted, the same death penalty for homosexuality as a capital offence.
The “Kind” or “Type” of Terrorism
Moreover, I believe it is critically important to describe the “kind” or “type” of terrorism that we are specifically dealing with and not just terrorism in general. To remove the Orlando attack from its Islamic context and to place it into another context (such as mental illness [instead of evil] or gun control or broad terrorism in general) is not only to engage in a faulty straw-man argument but also it indicates a serious failure or inability to face the real problem at hand, Islamic terrorism. And for a society to do so, is to continue to tragically live within an atmosphere of willful denial which is, most likely, for the sake of being (dangerously) politically correct and/or for not wanting to offend law abiding Muslims. This is a serious problem. Or rather, a serious and widespread socio-political pathology. According to “Muslim Statistics” and other statistical-based Muslim websites which gather information globally from various news and governmental sources, there have been over 28,000 “Islamic terrorism” attacks since 9/11 world-wide. And yet, many individuals especially on the left continue to willfully ignore these realities, thus adding insult to injury. Though not all Muslims (world-wide) are terrorists, virtually all terrorists (world-wide) are Muslim. It is extremely important to maintain that critical balance without emphasizing the one to the exclusion of the other.
Ultimately, or rather essentially, “Islamic terrorism” is not an international (or a Western) problem per se, but rather a unique problem that specifically belongs to the Muslim world and has for some time. Unfortunately, because of progressive liberalism’s radical, world-wide, ideological vision and drive for a globalist society (based on secular-humanistic principles of diversity, tolerance, openness, inclusion, religious pluralism, multiculturalism, cultural relativism, liberal equality, and liberal rights), this “Islamic” problem has now become our problem in the West. And it is a problem that can be ultimately traced back to a serious weakness or blind spot within Enlightenment-based liberalism itself, the exaltation of human “reason” over divine “revelation” within Western thought and culture.
Liberal Democracy, Multiculturalism and the Spirit of “Babylon” I think that a very important or rather very hard lesson that seriously needs to be learned in the West from the Orlando terrorist attack and others like it, especially by professing Christians, is that the worshippers of liberal democracy’s Enlightenment principles of “Liberty, Equality and Fraternity” (which replaced “God, King and Bishop”) do indeed have serious weak points or inherent trajectories which, in turn, have opened the door to a self-destructive cultural Marxism and globalism that is rooted and grounded in an idolatrous, universal religion of Man or universal cult of Self, an idolatrous and self-destructive multicultural ideology where all cultures and religions, including Witchcraft and Satanism, are perceived to be equally good and/or intrinsically valuable in themselves. Thus, from a Christian perspective at least, a state-sponsored as well as state-enforced multiculturalism is nothing less than a modern revival of a purely paganistic and pluralistic spirit of “Babylon”, with all her whoredoms on the rise once again.
And so, as much as it is deceptively bewitching to those (blind leading the blind) who envision an ideal-global society, where Western liberal democracy and universal, human rights are lovingly embraced as being both natural and reasonable to all human beings, not to mention being the divinely ordained “End of History”, it is not the true (or eschatological) reality for Christians. And for the West to continue to adamantly and uncritically pursue such idolatrous and self-destructive ideologies i.e. ideologies that eventually arose out of the so-called “unfettered” humanistic and/or rationalistic principles and traditions of 18th century Enlightenment liberalism’s deification of human “reason” will only lead to increased civil strife and unrest, more mass killings, the eventual breakdown of society and even civil war.
In looking back at European history, maybe Western civilization should have heeded the warnings of Protestant reformer Martin Luther when it came to the inherent weakness of Enlightenment “reason” upon which liberal democracy is principally founded. Although human reason, as a gift from God, is a wonderful servant, she can easily become “the Devil’s greatest whore”:
Reason is the Devil’s greatest whore; by nature and manner of being she is a noxious whore; she is a prostitute, the Devil’s appointed whore; a whore eaten by scab and leprosy who ought to be trodden under foot and destroyed, she and her wisdom…Throw dung in her face to make her ugly. She is and she ought to be drowned in baptism…She would deserve, the wretch, to be banished to the filthiest place in the house, to the closets (Martin Luther, Works, Erlangen Edition v. 16, pp. 142-148).
Reason is the greatest enemy that faith has; it never comes to the aid of spiritual things, but more frequently than not struggles against the divine Word, treating with contempt all that emanates from God (Martin Luther, Table Talks in 1569). by Rev. Russell Haynes

IN CONVERSATION
The other day in conversation with a young person I was asked for life advise. He wanted to know how long it would take for him to become successful. Apparently he was tired of school work, confused on the career path he wanted to take.
I looked at him and explained, There is no magic potion. There are no gold paved road. Life is a series of tests, trials and tribulations how we handle them determines our destiny. From a very young age we are rewarded for making the right choices and punished for doing wrong. This type of thinking is what determines how we handle the many obstacles that life throws at us. Through the years we become pigeon holed into categories and ranking according to our choices, abilities and efforts. These outcomes compounded with social pressure and uncertainty either assist us to make the right choice or further condemns us into social damnation of sort. Some deem this success and failure.
I see it as a test from the God’s to see if you really want something more than the obvious defeat. Quitting and failure is the easy choice. Failure through effort and attempt is part of growth. Without it we could never appreciate success.
This kid looks at me and smiled and said, “I can understand that, but where do you get the energy to keep going and not give up?” I smiled. It is not energy that you need to keep going. What you need is to stop worrying about the outcome and work on making the outcome happen. Worry creates doubt and leaves things to chance. Effort and hard work towards your goal creates opportunity and eliminates any chance of doubt.
I remember at the University a professor saying to me. “You can’t figure out the answer to that problem because you are not looking for an answer but focusing on the problem. Don’t look at a problem as a problem but instead a simple solution.” This has carried with me for years and every time I am faced with a challenge that appears impossible to happen. I take a step back and look for the key factor that is the problem and use that as my solution. Simplicity is the hardest problem to solve as it takes away all our preconceptions of complexity.
Success comes to those who plan for it and take chances. There is nothing that the mind can’t achieve. Only perceived obstacles cloud judgment that impede people from making the right choice in life therefore setting them further from their goals to such a point that they loose sight and become disencouraged.
Much like I put on my by-line. “I LIVE A DREAM IN A NIGHTMARE WORLD”. Open your eyes. Live life large and don’t be afraid to fail. As success is the by-product of failure and the reluctance to fail will prevent you from finding success.

“I live a dream in a nightmare world”
Oshawa Is Doomed
Well folks it is official the SS OSHAWA is sunk. I say this because we the people have no voice at City Hall and those in charge have bailed ship leaving us to fend for ourselves.
After talks of 3% increases in property taxes the dust has settled and the incompetent elected officials are attempting to makes us believe that their hard work and effort has cut the increase to only 2.52. I say bull. These scoundrels are wasting our tax dollars on projects that are hit and miss. The Depot for example. A very elaborate scheme for the City manager at that time. Roger Bouma and the Mayor to swindle 2 million dollars in a land transfer deal that went bad. For that one we have to thank Amy McQuade England as if it was not for blewing the whistle on the deal. Bouma and Henry would have retired millionaires. Councillor England also known as the flip flop outcast councillor. A councillor that stands on a soap box championing morality yet I bring to question her moral fiber. From her exposing her breast during council to feed her new born child. To the attacking local business that did not support her questionable behavior at social functions. This out of touch with reality councillor during a delegation before council. She asked an irrelevant question attacking the presenter on moral grounds. This is the same person that has had numerous call put against by citizens to Children Aid Society.
It seems like every month she has a different hair color. Could this be just another example of how confused she truly is…. after all many citizens have raised the question that if Amy did not have a make over on a TV show, would she have been elected to office…. Questioning her mental state as her inflated ego clearly shows some sort of psychological deficiency. Just recently she has added her husbands last name to hers… What gives? Did her husband finally grow in a pair of balls? Her attacks and rants clearly show some sort of complex when it comes to dealing with issues. One further question… What has she done for Oshawa in her two terms in office? This type of council representation is why no serious investor or developer comes to Oshawa.
This week I received this letter from the City of Oshawa:
Re: Budget 2016 – Request for Amendment to the City’s Advertising Policy
This is in response to your correspondence of January 8 and February 1, 2016 and your delegation to Oshawa City Council on January 25, 2016 concerning the above-referenced matter.
At its meeting of January 25, 2016 Oshawa City Council adopted the following motion concerning your correspondence of January 8, 2016:
“That Correspondence Request Item 2 from The Oshawa/Durham Central Newspaper requesting to be included in the City’s advertising budget, be received for information.”
At its meeting of February 5, 2016 Oshawa City Council adopted the following motion concerning your correspondence of February 1, 2016:
“That Correspondence Item 1 from Joe Ingino, Editor/Publisher, Central Newspapers requesting inclusion in the 2016 advertising budget be received for information.”
Later, in the same meeting on February 5, 2016, Council approved the City’s 2016 Budget with the following resolution: “That the 2016 Operating and Capital Budgets be approved as amended and the associated Departmental Annual Business Plans be received for information and the Advisory Committees of Council Work Plans be endorsed.”
Oshawa Council’s decision results in a 2.52% tax levy increase on the Oshawa portion of the 2016 tax bill. ‘RECEIVED FOR INFORMATION’ is a clever way of giving you the middle finger. Through the years I have submitted endless documents. Many with some great proposals only to have them be ignored by the city and filed as ‘RECEIVED FOR INFORMATION’.
This is why no serious developer comes to Oshawa. I predicted that in 2017 we will be faced with a 7% tax increase. It is coming. We are facing as it stands the resolution of various legal challenges against the city. We are facing a possible 5 million dollar pay out to the Feds for not using the harbor lands. We are looking at the ongoing loss with the GM center and in my prediction the Region’s debt will climb to over 200 million dollars.
Where does this leave us the average JOE? Well, we will have two choices. Bare the 2.5% increase this year and another 7% next year or finally surrender to the Region and wipe out the debt. Did you know what we have the worst credit rating out of all the Durham region municipalities? Did you know that we have the highest property tax rates out of all the Region?
Mismanagement, poor leadership and incompetents elected. Now you can’t blame those elected as they are riding a FREE ride off our hide. We must stop voting in people that have little or no business experience to manage and work the city as the corporation that it is….closed-for-business

“I live a dream in a nightmare world”
Human Pigeons
We all awaken every day to face a new day. Our routines are all pretty much similar. We go to work. We return only to repeat again. Until what we deem the weekend gives us two days to basically attend a different routine only to be returned back to our regular routine for another week. This goes on month after month, year after year.
Most of us live in the same house for most of our lives. We shop at the same stores. We give our business to the same local merchants Our existence is nothing more than a series of repetitive actions that we call life or some a pattern an uncontrollable habit.
I remember when the book 1984 by George Orwell came out. How this book transformed the way we think about society. The fear that it put in everyone’s conscious, “BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING”. How for the first time in human history privacy took center stage in most philosophical discussions pertaining to issues such as democracy, freedom of speech and choice. For those not aware of the book. 1984 is a dystopia novel by English author George Orwell published in 1949. The novel is set in Airstrip One (formerly known as Great Britain), a province of the superstate Oceania in a world of perpetual war, omnipresent government surveillance and public manipulation, dictated by a political system euphemistically named English Socialism under the control of a privileged elite of the Inner Party, that persecutes individualism and independent thinking as “thoughtcrime”
The tyranny is epitomised by Big Brother, the Party leader who enjoys an intense cult of personality but who may not even exist.
I remember interviewing the Minister of privacy commissioner. During the interview he turns to me and says, “In reality there is very little that is private about Canadians”. He then continued to explain that even though there are laws that protect privacy as for example the way records are kept and the way we process documents.
Information about just anyone is easily accessed. Police/Intelligent agencies/government services for years contravene many aspect of the act but no one prosecutes due to the fact that the information is used internally.
With the introduction of high tech gadgets and technology exposing people to platforms that without them knowing forces them to surrender their identity. In today’s world nothing is private. Governments much like in George Orwell’s book use this information for all kinds of purposes. The internet for years now has been criticized as the ultimate medium to control public opinion and public thought. The spread of rumor, fear and misinformation uses the internet to manipulate people’s actions and opinions.
Just recently a famous British comedian was quoted – John Cleese: Political Correctness Can Lead to an Orwellian Nightmare. The essence of comedy is being critical, says Cleese, and that means causing offense… Political Correctness the ultimate modern social taboo.
Censorship without laws is now possible. Controlling public opinion can be done at the stroke of keyboard in seconds. During many of the middle east conflicts. Political upheaval was controlled via cell phone technology and the internet. Organizers would utilize this technology to not only influence supporters behavior but monitor and control the media coverage.
According to the last book in the Bible, 666 is the number, or name, of the wild beast with seven heads and ten horns that comes out of the sea. Could this mythical monster come alive?
As The Encyclopedia of Religion states: “Nationalism has become a dominant form of religion in the modern world.” *
How is the mark of the beast placed on someone’s right hand or forehead? (Revelation 13:16) Regarding his commands to the nation of Israel, God said: “Bind them as a reminder on your hand, and they should be like a headband on your forehead.” (Deuteronomy 11:18) This meant, not that the Israelites were to mark their literal hands and foreheads, but that God’s words would guide all their actions and thoughts. Likewise, rather than being something literal such as a 666 tattoo, the mark of the beast symbolically identifies those who let the political system rule their lives. Those with the mark of the beast place themselves in opposition to God.—Revelation 14:9, 10; 19:19-21. – Are not most of us right handed?
If this stand true or remotely possible. Through the development of technology are we not marked by IP, telephone, cell phones, social security, licenses, credit card numbers. Can we assume that the literal meaning of three sixes has a different form? Interesting questions as we live our lives in our habitual pigeon holes allowing our thoughts to be influenced by technology that we do not understand but trust to be true. Could this explain why our social values, society instead of getting better is slowly eroding to an ironic anarchy?pigeon-in-city

“I live a dream in a nightmare world”
the end is near…
The Charter of Rights and Freedoms clearly was influenced and inspired by international human rights documents, including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. For example, like the Declaration, the Charter protects the right to life, liberty and security of the person, the right not to be subject to arbitrary detention, to equality before the law, and to freedom of religion.
The Charter of Rights protects those basic rights and freedoms of all Canadians that are considered essential to preserving Canada as a free and democratic country. It applies to all governments – federal, provincial and territorial – and includes protection of the following:
fundamental freedoms, democratic rights, the right to live and seek employment anywhere in Canada, legal rights: the right to life, liberty and personal security, equality rights for all, the official languages of Canada, minority language education rights, Canada’s multicultural heritage, and Aboriginal peoples’ rights. With this said, it is understandable that under Section 2 – Fundamental Freedoms. Everyone has the following fundamental freedoms: freedom of conscience and religion; freedom of thought, belief, opinion and expression, including freedom of the press and other media of communication; freedom of peaceful assembly; and freedom of association.
The Charter guarantees certain freedoms for everyone in Canada. Canadian traditions and laws have reflected the freedoms set out in section 2 for many years. Since 1982, the Charter has given these freedoms constitutional protection.
Canada as most of the world today is undergoing major social changes. Due to primarily technology, education and the sciences. The world has become a global village and oppression is being fought tooth and nail. This giving rise to a new world order. One based on political and religious interests rooted in military power by an underlying force that has no human decency and or respect for human life shrouded by a religion that appeals the basic human psychological elements as defined by Freud. Perhaps Freud’s single most enduring and important idea was that the human psyche (personality) has more than one aspect. Freud (1923) saw the psyche structured into three parts (i.e. tripartite), the id, ego and superego, all developing at different stages in our lives. Society has stripped us of our ego, our superego is being oppressed by political correctness and economics… and this old religions appeals to the ID in a way that is mesmerizing. To the point that it’s preaching are followed without rational thought and or challenge at times violating all of the Charters doctrines
In North America, primarily in Canada under the guise of multiculturalism we have changed for ever as a society. The ‘POLITICALLY CORRECTNESS’ cancer is slowly eating away at what made this country great and turning us against each other. Those that have opinion are quickly labeled with a phobia or some sort of social neurosis and those demanding change and acceptance with a clear deviance from traditional values are deemed normal and the norm.
People with thought and opinion sit oppressed by a society that is bankrupt of morality. We as society are led to accept out of fear of reprisal. Something that is counter productive and or anti Charter stipulations as set forth by our forefathers to safeguard against such oppression.
Under section 2 of the Charter , Canadians are free to follow the religion of their choice. In addition, they are guaranteed freedom of thought, belief and expression. Since the media are an important means for communicating thoughts and ideas, the Charter also protects the right of the press and other media to speak out. Our right to gather and act in peaceful groups is also protected, as is our right to belong to an association such as a trade union.
These freedoms are set out in the Charter to ensure that Canadians are free to create and to express their ideas, gather to discuss them and communicate them widely to other people. These activities are basic forms of individual liberty. They are also important to the success of a democratic society like Canada. In a democracy, people must be free to discuss matters of public policy, criticize governments and offer their own solutions to social problems.
Even though these freedoms are very important, governments can sometimes limit them. For example, laws against pornography and hate propaganda are reasonable limits on freedom of expression because they prevent harm to individuals and groups.
The rights and freedoms in the Charter are not absolute. They can be limited in order to protect other rights or important national values. For example, freedom of expression may be limited by laws against hate propaganda or pornography. With this said one has to look at how this section opens the door for religious agenda to be pushed manipulating our own Charter. Under the umbrella of freedom, society is being manipulated to accept the obviously unacceptable. This is been demonstrated world wide. In the Republican race this issue has surfaced and has taken center stage. How are we to uphold our freedoms if our Charter is being manipulated. Trumps claim to put a freeze on Islamic immigration and or the investigating of Muslim churches, groups is not at all racist as many deemed him… but more like most are praising him as a reasonable avenue to take as per the charter under section 2 stipulates. “The rights and freedoms in the Charter are not absolute. They can be limited in order to protect other rights or important national values.”
Section 1 of the Charter says that Charter rights can be limited by other laws so long as those limits can be shown to be reasonable in a free and democratic society.
The Supreme Court of Canada has stated that a limit on Charter rights is acceptable if:
-the limit deals with a pressing and substantial social problem, and -the government’s response to the problem is reasonable and demonstrably justified.
The prohibition of discrimination on the basis of race, color, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth, or other status; The right to life; The right to liberty and security; The right not to be submitted to slavery, servitude, forced labor or bonded labor; The right not to be subjected to torture and/or cruel, inhuman, degrading treatment or punishment; The right to be free from gendered violence; The right to freedom of association; The right to freedom of movement; The right to the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health; The right to just and favorable conditions of work; The right to an adequate standard of living; The right to social security; and The right of children to special protection. There are a variety of human rights, including:
Civil rights (such as the rights to life, liberty and security),
Political rights (like rights to the protection of the law and equality before the law),
Economic rights (including rights to work, to own property and to receive equal pay),
Social rights (like rights to education and consenting marriages),
Cultural rights (including the right to freely participate in their cultural community), and
Collective rights (like the right to self-determination).
The liberties we hold as individuals, however, cannot be absolute. Because we live in a society, there may be times when individual rights have to be limited. Section 1 of the Charter recognizes this and states that our guaranteed rights and freedoms are subject only to such “reasonable limits prescribed by law as can be demonstrably justified in a free and democratic society”.
With all these rights it appears that an exclusion has been left out. This being discrimination based on CHARACTER, PERSONAL BIASES BASED ON REPUTATION. Just this past week a college student was expelled from a University in Europe for her posting on FB. What right does the University have in expelling based on her right to post in a public forum? What right does an employee/group have to not hire someone because they do not approve of their fashion, hair length, family orientation, political involvement, a persons weight, hair color, hygiene and or profession.
Interesting questions only showing that society is far from perfect but clearly confused. The safeguards we have carefully tailored to protect now is being manipulated and used against us. From the feminist movement demanding equality to the gay movement and now to this new religious threat. Our Charter needs to be revised. As it includes and it also excludes and in part in today’s society it is much like our legal system left open for interpretation. We must include those that are being oppressed by fear of social reprisal. The reality of it is that there is no ideal world. Utopia does not exist. We live in a fragile world with rules and laws that keep us from our primal instincts. Some more advanced, civilized countries employ more elaborate systems to assure each citizen peace within their borders. A system to co-exist without fear. We call this society. Unfortunately and as many social scientist have been predicting for years. Due to the population growth. This safety, these rights we have enjoyed by everyone playing by the rules and upholding morality will fall aside. Due to economic, broken educational systems, the decline of the role of the church in peoples lives and not to mention the compromise in the family institution. Society is slowly eroding. External threats are only quickining a process that is inevitable to end up in social unrest and chaos. Who will come to our aid. Who will liberate us? The writings are on the wall. Police services are under the legal, public pressure gun. It appears that not a week can go a long when someone is reporting another shooting of a civilian and the unrest it brings. The church has lost its purpose. Our educational system has become bureaucratized and corrupt. Our economies are failing. It’s a matter of time. I am not very religious… but as those that preach that the end is near…they may have something…
You decide.

“I live a dream in a nightmare world”
under attack
Dear readers I feel I must make this public as it is becoming a real serious problem. The Oshawa/Durham Central Newspaper was the first newspaper in Canada to publish an online edition. As well The WAVE Radio – Durham City Central Radio was the first commercial radio station in the world to be broadcasting. With such attributes to our research and development we are edged in internet history.
With this said. Through the years we have become a target of hackers. The internet when it first came out and still is considered FREEWARE. Meaning each user was responsible for what they poste and their subsequent actions.
The honor system ruled supreme and all those on the net respected such un-written rules. As the internet became more populated people began to compromise that basic human element known as decency.
At that time, the hackers (or the dishonest people on the net) took it upon themselves to cross over to the dark side and harass people. Intervene in the pureness the internet. They became such a problem that security software had to be developed to keep intruders out of your computer system and network.
At first it was pretty primitive… almost anyone could be a hacker. Even sometimes by mistake one would enter space that was not intended. As the internet became more popular the porn sites became more prevelent. People began to create new search engines. e-commerce was in it’s infancy. At this point the internet was heavily polluted and in need of regulation.
As the internet became more complex. The more it weakened as a tool to gather information.
Governments and organizations found the power of the net and used for all the wrong reasons. The FREEWARE was not free any more and the concept had been altered for ever.
Today the internet is a global place that has as many dangers as the streets. We as citizens have been for the longest time protecting our identities. Living on a false world that we are unique and very seclusive.
Wrong. The internet has marked us. It has marked us with an IP address. It has pin pointed us on a map and nothing is sacred unless you know the net.
At the Central for being the first on line. We have been the victims of various attacks. The first major attack against THE WAVE radio took place about 16 years ago. We came to the office one day and we had numerous calls from readers asking us what was going on with our web page. Apparently someone had changed our home screen with the flag of Pakistan. Something we never posted. The message on the flag was in arabic and it denounced Pakistans government. After reporting it to police. It was investigated to have originated in Israel. Someone in Israel had hacked into our systems and changed our web page content. This at the time did not get much traction other then the fact that we had to report it internationally. At that time there was not to much anyone could do but to re-set the original web page.
So we did. As the internet became for sophisticated. The attacks became more sophisticated.
Our second major attack took place about 8 year ago. This one totally erased our server and subsequently took all our stored data on the server. This was a major undertaking as we had to engineer the web page from saved data. Origins of this attack are still unknown as the source with the technology of the time could not be located.
About 4 years ago. We endured yet another attack. This time our server was attacked and it was being used by an unknown entity as a sub/hub server to feed through information world wide.
Allow me to explain at the Central we helped engineer a very sophisticated technology that allow us to quantum our broadcasting ability. This means that for every one outlet of bandwidth we can send out million worth of data per one ratio. This technically giving who ever enters our server access to millions of access points world wide with very little bandwidth and or detection.
Just recently – 3 months ago. We got hit again. This time it was more severe and intense then ever before. We are still putting safeguards against possible future attacks. As some of you may have noted. The WAVE Radio is still down and going through some maintenance. The Central newspaper data base has been compromised but not lost.
No personal financial information was lost or compromised as we keep that in a seperate server. Please report anything you may note that is out of the ordinary on our site. Please be patient as we will be having all our systems back in runing by January 15, 2016. Thank you.
